Zark Lab Partners with Walrus to Establish Foundational AI Intelligence Layer for Content Discovery, Accessibility, and Utility
The partnership will introduce Zark Lab’s AI-powered publishing service for automatic metadata enhancements, making files uploaded to Walrus instantly searchable, organized, and AI-ready without manual tagging.

Zark Lab, the blockchain-native AI intelligence platform built to redefine how intelligent agents interact onchain, has partnered with Walrus to become the latter’s de facto AI intelligence solution for content discovery and accessibility, enabling automatic structure upgrades for developers building on Walrus. Leveraging its AI publishing system, files uploaded to Walrus will now be automatically enriched with metadata, making all data immediately searchable using AI agents without the need for developers to manually tag or structure files.
The partnership will unlock Zark’s Semantic Search and Intelligence API for Walrus, which enables natural language queries across all stored content formats, including text, images, audio, and video files. Rather than relying on traditional indexing or SEO, users can discover and interact with data conversationally using AI agents, while allowing developers to automatically embed this feature into dApps and programs stored within Walrus’ decentralized data layer.
“One of AI’s largest hurdles is data discovery - agents are often smart enough to know to look for certain tags or metadata, but developers don’t always tag or structure data to be searchable, making the process cumbersome and untenable,” said Rebecca Simmonds, Managing Executive of the Walrus Foundation. “With Zark Lab’s AI intelligence platform, we’re effectively giving every user their own personal Google search for any data they’ve uploaded to Walrus, unlocking massive potential use cases for both individual users and businesses alike.”
Zark Lab achieves this impressive level of search capability through its AI-Enhanced Publisher, which automatically tags and enriches the metadata of files so that they are AI-ready the moment they are uploaded. This makes files automatically searchable and organized for numerous applications, including:
- Data Archiving - Pull data sources like Discord chats, Telegram backup, or personal photo libraries into Walrus and make them instantly searchable
- Smart Transcription and Contextualization - Intelligent tagging of media files like audio, video, and even 3D assets for creative development
- Research and Documentation - Automatic tagging of repository dumps and document version history
- Automated Organization - Instantly organize and tag documents for applications in tax preparation, legal management, medical and financial records, and invoice cataloging
- Real-World Migration - Automatically move entire folder structures and projects from cloud storage solutions like Google Drive or Dropbox
“AI Semantic Search offers a chance to elevate Walrus into an open repository of intelligence, where users can find data by simply describing what they are looking for - as if they were talking with a personal assistant,” commented Spiridon Zarkov, Founder and CEO of Zark Lab. “In practice, this massively enhances the potential utility of data on Walrus, allowing users to easily discover and catalog the data based on their immediate needs, rather than requiring tedious structuring ahead of time. We are incredibly excited to work alongside Walrus and unlock the true power of decentralized data management with our AI powering its search capabilities.”
Zark Lab will also natively integrate with Seal, the decentralized secrets management service also developed by Mysten Labs, providing additional search capabilities and monetization options for private data delivery. Future integrations will include AI Assistant integration, allowing models to access and reason over Walrus content, as well as model hosting which will allow Zark to train and host AI models served via Walrus.
