Myriad Integrates Walrus as the Data Layer to Build More Transparent Prediction Markets

Myriad, a decentralized, multichain prediction market platform, built by the team behind Decrypt Media and Rug Radio, today announced a partnership with Walrus to become its trusted data layer. The partnership builds on Walrus’s earlier integration with crypto and DeFi trade publication Decrypt to house the publication’s media content verifiably onchain, with Myriad now extending that foundation into live, data-driven markets.
Myriad is a Web3 prediction and trading protocol designed to enable markets where users can actively trade on information, forecasts, and consensus in real time. Directly integrated with Decrypt’s coverage, the platform presents users with relevant prediction forecasts and opportunities alongside the publication’s written and video content, allowing users to actively make predictions that leverage trending news and trusted data.
“Myriad unlocks a new way for users to engage with prediction markets by combining trusted information with real-time media coverage to allow users to make active decisions and forecasts based on the most current market data,” said Rebecca Simmonds, Managing Executive of the Walrus Foundation. “Through Walrus, Myriad transforms information into an asset by bringing every market’s media and outcome onchain, making it transparent, verifiable, and composable for AI and DeFi use cases.”
By partnering with Walrus, Myriad now enables a new class of financial information and primitives that are grounded in verifiable data. With Walrus replacing Myriad’s previous centralized and IPFS data storage infrastructure, the Myriad stack is equipped with tamper-proof and publicly auditable provenance that is tailor-made for AI and DeFi implementations.
Myriad has seen over $5 million in total onchain prediction transactions since its launch. The protocol can also be integrated as a white-label product within other platforms, either via the dedicated API for custom frontend deployment or via its SDK for direct access to its prediction markets.
“The prevalence of prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket shows that the future of both finance and predictions will be tradable and live onchain,” said Loxley Fernandes, CEO of Myriad. “By partnering with Walrus, we now make this future trusted and verifiable, while also sidestepping the pitfalls of traditional centralized storage methods that align with our infrastructure goals and overall mission.”
Through the partnership, Myriad will also explore integration with other key aspects of the Sui stack, such as Seal, its dedicated secrets management platform.
